Kindness In Action Volunteer Dental Trip
[mappress mapid=”10″]On January 13, 2012, we boarded a plane for Jalapa, Guatemala to participate in our second volunteer dental trip with Kindness In Action. We spent a total of 10 days travelling to and from the small villages in the countryside of Jalapa, Guatemala. We were hosted at a camp owned and run by Wells of Hope, another Canadian run charity based out of Ontario. The volunteers here took exceptional care of our every need as we prepared for the 4 days of clinic at local schools. The line-ups were endless and we had to turn people away which is hard to see but we took comfort in knowing that another dental group would be continuing on during the next month.
